Health Foods and Raw Food Diet

Is eating a raw food diet actually healthy for you?
Health Foods and Organic foods are not limited to fresh vegetables, "raw foods" simply mean foods that are not
commercially processed, this processing usually strips a lot of the nutritional value out of the Raw Food.
Depending on the type of lifestyle and results desired, raw food diets may include a selectıon of raw fruits,
vegetables, nuts, seeds and breads made with organic unprocessed grains.

A raw food diet that is rich in alkaline foods is the fastest way to health.

In order to get in balance, one needs to consume about 80 percent of your diet as alkaline foods. Green leafy vegetables
are a great example of alkaline foods. So are sprouts, broccoli and many other green vegetables. A great way to get
started on this new way of life is to pick up a copy of "The pH Miracle."

This is a great start to learning about health foods and you will learn how to jump start your way into a lifestyle of balanced eating that promotes long term health. You will also discover all the foods you should avoid and the ones that you can eat as much as you like.
This book is written by Dr. Robert O. Young and his wife Shelley provides some awesome recipes cooking while health foods in the book too.

Discover Health Food and Organic Food

I discovered the joys of a Healthy diet, "Health Foods" and organic foods in Lancaster California.
I had the Blessing of having a family reunion with members of the family from all over the States.
Some of the family members that attended came back from Kentucky where they have been for the last 18 years without a single visit. The first thing I noticed was how healthy and full of energy they were.
I didn't mention this to them until they started talking about the different herbs they were taking and the natural and organic foods they ate as their every day diet.

From that day on I knew that I had to become organic, or at the very least start eating healthier foods.
I started studying about nutrition and how very little nutritional value the processed foods we had been eating had.
Things have changed from the day when everyone grew at least a portion of their own food.
Food is supposed to enrich and revitalize our bodies, instead we seem to be unknowingly poisoning them.
